JASMINE HOUSE LONDON, SE3

about

Jasmine House is located on a picturesque, unmade road moments from the green open spaces of Blackheath.

The property was built in 2016 and renovated in 2024. This modern tardis location home in London is arranged over four stories, two of which are below ground hence the unassuming exterior. Despite the subterranean layout, the house is filled with natural light from several skylights, a lower ground winter garden and wall to wall, double height windows at the rear. We have over 60 plants indoors including a ‘shady lady’ black olive tree in our kitchen.

Our newly renovated bespoke kitchen offers a large waterfall patagonia quartzite island, matching counters and a large backlit backsplash feature. The freezer, fridge, double ovens are hidden behind individual wall to ceiling/pocket doors with the adjacent custom arched door leading to our large utility room. This space includes a wall with four hidden larders, wrap around glass wall cabinets hung above Dekton Marmorio countertops with an acrylic laundry drying rail above a washer/dryer. All appliances are Miele and light fixtures by Kelly Wearstler.

The living room features a large seating area with a Focus Magmafocus fireplace. An oak dining table (254cm W, 119cm D) with six accompanying large boucle chairs can comfortably sit ten with standard dining chairs. There is an extensive void to the right as you exit to the patio/garden. There is a substantial skylight directly above this void and beneath it is the lounge area on the lower kitchen level.

The primary bedroom overlooks the garden and features a curved headboard bed frame. There is a pocket door entrance to the ensuite. The second bedroom has a king size sofa bed, wardrobes, large window and a skylight. The third bedroom is a safari themed children’s bedroom with window seat overlooking the patio/garden.

There are two WCs and two bathrooms in our home (4 toilets total) and all feature Lusso Stone products. The lower level WC has a travertine fluted feature wall and matching basin with brushed gold basin tap and flush plate. The foyer WC has a crema marfil marble basin with a matte black basin tap and matching toilet. The walls, floors and ceiling in both bathrooms were seamlessly covered in Topcret micro-cement. The ensuite features a large walk-in shower and 4 tall built-in mirrored wall cabinets. The top bathroom has both a walk in shower and soaking tub. The staircase and balustrades that flow from the living room to the exterior patio area are frame-less glass. All interior walls have recently been painted the colour Shirting by Little Greene. The floors and staircase have been covered in Topcret micro-cement. All ceiling lights and chandeliers have dimming capability. There is air conditioning in all three bedrooms. Since the living room and kitchen levels are underground they stay cool on warm days. We also have a powerful portable air conditioning unit if needed.

Blackheath is one of the largest areas of common land in Greater London, with 211.5 acres of protected commons. We are adjacent to Greenwich Park and the end of our road opens to the beautiful open heath.
